The TripAdvisor traveler-voted award was announced, in which many cities in Vietnam were among the top famous destinations in the world and in Asia.

After a difficult year for tourism, TripAdvisor announced the best destinations, winning Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards 2021.
The awards were divided into 4 categories: Popular Destinations, Trending Destinations, Emerging Destinations, and Best National Parks. Among them, the category “Popular Destinations” highlighted the places that TripAdvisor reviewers loved most in the past 12 months.
In this category, Bali (Indonesia) rose to the first position, becoming the most popular destination in the world. This attraction ranked 4th last year and beat London (U.K) from the top to runner-up.
Besides the two leading destinations, Dubai (UAE), Rome (Italy) and Paris (France) ranked the remaining positions in the top 5.
Vietnam also had 2 destinations in the top 25 most popular destinations in the world: Hanoi ranked 6th and Hội An (Quảng Nam) ranked 11th.
