Lunar New Year Festival is the most important spiritual holiday in the cultural life of Vietnamese people because this is a privileged occasion for each person to find their way back to their origin and spiritual values that have become the tradition of our nation for generations.
Hội An New Year Festival, which is an annual event, has been held by the city of Hội An for years. It was considered that the event had left a deep impression on visitors’mind thanks to the friendliness, humanity and soul-connection of people from all over the world.
Pursuant to a special release of Vietnam government on the implementation of national mourning for former Cuban president Fidel Castro on December 4th 2016, the Center for culture and sports of Hội An city would like to announce that all the entertainment activities, traditional art performances, choral class, folk singing class and folk games taking place in the ancient town of Hoian will be temporarily stopped from 8am to 9:30 pm on December 4th 2016 (Sunday).
