Quang Nam proposes exempting tickets for major tourism sites

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam province has suggested offering free tickets for travelers when they visit popular local tourist sites such as the ancient town Hoi An and the My Son relic site.

Tourists are disappearing from major attractions in Vietnam, including the UNESCO-recognized Hoi An Ancient Town in the central province of Quang Nam, as the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has spread to the country’s 16th patient.

A photo contest with the theme “The Cu Lao Cham – Hoi An World Biosphere Reserve in my eyes” was officially launched to mark the 7th year anniversary Cu Lao Cham – Hoi An recognized as The World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. The contest will run from 26/5/2016 to 26/3/2017. It opens to Vietnamese citizens and foreigners.
