Plaisir Ensemble was highly rewarded for its hard work in the 1st Vietnam International Choir Festival and Competition held in March 2011. This spectacular choir festival took place in an ancient city – Hoi An for the first time, drawing the participation of over 30 choirs with nearly 1,000 artists f-rom 11 countries and territories. All together, Plaisir Ensemble won Golden Diploma in vocal ensemble of equal voices and The Winner of the category as well as The Overall Winner in Chamber Choirs.

Under the guidance of renowned conductor, Mr. MAN Kin-ping, these nine girls f-rom Hong Kong have been growing f-rom strength to strength over the years, gain remarkable achievements in global choir games and festivals. Without any government support, these nine amateur choral enthusiasts have been putting a great deal of effort to represented Hong Kong in March 2011 to win in the 1^st Vietnam International Choir Festival and Competition, and proudly, sang the national anthem in front of distinguished guests all over the world.
