"THE 4TH INTERNATIONAL FOOD FESTIVAL - HOI AN 2019" which is scheduled to be taken place from April 11th to 14th 2019 at An Hoi Sculpture Garden.
This year, the event with the theme "Cao Lau Challenge" will introduce the traditional dish of Hoi An and the chefs will also remix this dish in their own style to serve visitors. In the exciting atmosphere of artistic performances every night, the 10 chefs from Germany, Japan, France, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, The Philippines and Vietnam will bring visitors great food.
Hoi An culinary culture has been creating great attraction to experts and tourists from all over the world. Hoi An was honored in "Top 25 of best food cities" by TripAdvisor, Hoi An cooking class listed in "Top 10 most exciting experiences on the planet" by Lonely Planet, Mi Quang and Cao Lau dishes recognized as "Top Asian culinary value", Hoi An market voted as "Food Paradise", etc ... This is a base that make Hoi An International Food Festival" happen since 2016. Through this event, Hoi An city will have an chance to introduce its values of local cuisine, promote the images of culture – tourism and cuisine of Hoi An to visitors in and outside Vietnam, creating opportunities for local chefs, people of Hoi An and visitors to exchange with international experts.
