The 5th Cẩm Hà Kumquat Festival 2020

In the former time, it is believed that displaying a fruitful kumquat tree on Lunar New Year day is a way to express their wish for a happy and prosperious new year.

With that belief, in recent years, Cẩm Hà flower and ornamental plant village (Hội An) has emerged as a destination for popular kumquat artisans in Việt Nam. With an area of 222,43 hectares of agricultural land, mostly for planting kumquat; from Cẩm Hà, gorgeous kumquat trees have been transported to many provinces in Việt Nam, bringing significant income to the local people and making springs more colorful.

In order to continue introducing and honoring the flower and ornamental plant village of Hội An to the locals and tourists, as well as encourage the artisans, farmers of Cẩm Hà to develop a unique brand of kumquat growing, the People’s Committee of Cẩm Hà commune will hold the 5^th Cẩm Hà Kumquat Festival 2020 on January 3^rd to 4^th, 2020. The festival will showcase dozens of kumquat trees created in a unique art form by the leading artisans from Cẩm Hà kumquat village. For those who come here to visit will have a chance to enjoy local jam, juice and liquor made from kumquat and others Hội An specialties as Cao Lầu, Quảng noodles, pancakes, basil seed drink, etc.

The 5^th Cẩm Hà Kumquat Festival 2020 is expected to be an ideal destination for everyone to enjoy the beauty of kumquat trees and take a pot of kumquat tree home for new year decoration.
