Yo-heave-ho is still maintained in lives of Quang people, especially to Hoi An residents. Every night on Hoai river, when the town is overwhelmed in sparkling lanterns, in quiet and peaceful space, the boats together with artisans appear and disappear alternately on the river and they begin to sing close melodies excitedly.
