“Always beside you!”, “Be brave! Try your best! We are always beside you,our Japanese friends!”, “ Believe in overcoming, future is always bright” were written messages on 3 big pieces of cloth of 2m length and 1.5m width. On March 18, 2011, the campaign for sending messages, encouraging Japanese people enduring consequences of earthquake and tsunami was drawed hundreds of people presenting at Japanese Brigde area (Hoi An, Quang Nam).

The Central City of Hoi An, popular for its old quarters and peacefulness, is the pride of the Quang Nam Province’s people, in particular, and of the country, in general. However, it is a concern that such a world’s heritage will be exploited positively and preserved sustainably and suitably in association with socio-economic development.
“F-rom February 15, 2011, to attract tourists to Hoi An ancient town , the town for non-motorised vehicles is added on Tuesday together with Monday, Wednesday, Friday ,Saturday” said Mr Le Quang Trung, Chairman of Minh An Ward, Hoi An city, Quang Nam Province.
Viet Nam's Chanh Phuong Film Studio and Russia's IKA Film Studio are collaborating on the production of the film Nguoi Linh (The Soldiers), being directed by Stanislav Ivanov. The film, currently shooting on location around the city of Hoi An city and the vestige site of My Son in the central province of Quang Nam, tells the story of a group of Russian military specialists who come to Viet Nam during the American War.
Quang Nam province was supported by UNESCO Ha Noi office in organizing Pilot Heritage Guide Training programme and certification.
Quang Nam Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a conference briefing to evaluate the Quang Nam tourism operation in 2010 and deploy tasks work in 2011 at Hoi An Hotel on December 15.
