Earth Hour 2021 “Speak up for Nature”

EARTH HOUR is an annual campaign for the environment. It aims to raise awareness of the community and promote the link between man and nature.
Earth Hour 2021 will be performed simultaneously on a global scale with the theme “Speak up for Nature”! This year, it mainly focuses on calling on organizations, individuals and the whole society to join hands in keeping greenhouse gas emissions in balance and minimizing the use of plastic products to reduce the amount of plastic waste in nature.
Hội An city has also been responding enthusiastically to Earth Hour by propagating the harmful effects of plastic waste to all business households and locals to contribute to protecting the ecosystem of Hội An in particular and protecting the environment in general. At the same time, Hội An people also switch off non-essential lights and electrical equipment in 60 minutes (from 20:30 to 21:30) on March 27th, 2020 to show support and responsibility of each person in protecting the planet.
