“Co Tu Cultural Night” is scheduled to be held on June 9, July 8 and August 6 in Hoi An city held by the department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quangnam province in cooperation with the People’s Committee of Hội An city and the districts of Nam Giang, Tây Giang and Đông Giang.
Accordingly, the CoTu ethnic dance groups in the mountainous districts of Nam Giang, Đông Giang and Tây Giang will alternately perform tung tung ya ya dance, Brocatelle traditional weaving, display handicraft products, mountainous specialties, souvenirs.... The event takes place at An Hoi Sculpture Garden, 26 Phan Boi Chau street and Anantara Resort Hoi An.
This event aims to promote Co Tu culture and introduce the tourism potential of the mountainous districts in western Quang Nam to domestic and foreign tourists. Within that sense, this event has received positive support from FIDR Japan, photographer Rehahn, Anantara Hoi An Resort, An Di Expressway Joint Stock Companys...
Program:
- 17h00: tung tung ya ya dance and gong performance at An Hoi Sculpture Garden
- 18h00 - 19h00: tung tung ya ya dance and gong performance, brocatelle weaving presentation, souvenir display at 26 Phan Bội Châu street.
- 19h30: tung tung ya ya dance and gong performance at Anantara resort, 1 Phạm Hồng Thái (please reserve in advance)
