On some days beginning of the year, many Chinese and Japanese tourists visited Hoi An ancient town, up 20 – 30% compared to last year – 2010.
On the 1st , 2nd and 3rd days of Tet – 2011, Chinese groups were the first New Year’ s callers in Hoi An. Especially, thank to long holidays, a lot of domestic tourists visited Quang Nam province in Tet time. Hoi An was also a destination for many caravans f-rom Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City on this occasion.
On the 5th day of Tet ( February 7th), the first tourist group of Vitours visited Cham islands by helicopter with promotion price of 5.5 millions VND / person in package tour. The helicopter departed f-rom Danang airport, turned around enjoying Son Tra peninsula and Cham islands.
